CITY & LANDSCAPE - Doctoral colloquium 1.7.2021

Megacitites, highspeed urbanisation, deep trans- formation of territories and habitat, rural-urban linkages are actual spatial realities and future challenges - they demand an actualisation of concepts and methods in urbanism. At the same time landscape and nature as conceptual and op- erative paradigms has evolved as research asset at the faculty in Hanover. This doctoral college wants to combine these two approaches to a context related focus on global city and land- scape design.

Organised by the Chair for Territorial Design and Urban Planning, Prof. Jörg Schröder

and the Chair for Landscape Architecture and Design, Prof. Christian Werthmann
