Anna Pape receives the Leibniz Talents Prize 2022 for her master's thesis "Club of Unseen Monuments".
This prize is awarded annually to the best final theses at the university.

The background to the project is the tight housing market situation in Germany and the long-standing and constant demand for subsidised and affordable housing. These
deficits and the rise in rents in urban conurbations are leading to gentrification and segregation of the city, which is resulting in an enormous change in the population:inner structure. In order for such a displacement process not to continue, new ways must be created. Club der unsichtbaren Monumente maps new redensification potentials in order to find a contribution to a social and public welfare-oriented answer to the housing question in Hanover through the transformation and reinterpretation of different types of land.
